As a teenager, I was influenced by my Aunt Elinor, who entertained with beautiful attractive presentations. Motivated by what I saw and felt, I have always tried to create fun and new fresh ideas while entertaining or helping with an event. I have an eye and taste for small thoughtful details. For many years, I have been the unpaid wedding coordinator and have collaborated with numerous friends for weddings and events throughout 20 years. Inspired by romance, art, and nature, I have been known for my creativity and adding an element of surprise and one-of-a-kind ideas. One of my strengths is honesty and treating people graciously. When I took students on tours visiting English and European gardens, I increased my appreciation for fresh flowers and gardening. Furthering my interests, I became a certified floral designer and wedding/event planner. I am a romantic at heart and not only design an event with Shari, co-owner, but together, we design a beautiful experience. I have strong beliefs serving in the community and giving back to others. I have served on many boards, I was Co-Director for the local Miss America Pageant, serving in different positions in the PTA, and others, but it was going on a humanitarian mission trip in Eastern Russia, fundraising for orphanages and a cancer hospital for children that was a life changing experience.
